House Brewed Beers
Brewmaster ~ Ron Cotti
Bobcat Bristol Pride
Using British Malt and Hops, this beer is brewed to the classic
English Bitter Ale Style. It is a full-flavored amber ale, and nicely hopped.
Downtown Brown
Somewhere between our Bristol Pride ESB and the Mud Puddle Porter lurks the new Downtown Brown. A robust brown ale brewed to be a companion to everything from the Laplatte River Angus Burger to our Vermont Coffee Roasters Flat Iron Steak.
Mud Puddle Porter
A lighter bodied companion to our stout. Also brewed with roasted and dark malts, and nicely hopped. This is a creamy, smooth and very drinkable dark beer.
Also available as Bobcat Maple Porter.
App-Gap IPA
Our App-Gap IPA is a highly hopped, medium bodied amber ale. Hops are added five times during the boil plus it's dry-hopped twice, once in the fermenter and then again in the serving tank. The aroma hints of pine...crisp and refreshing, you gotta love the hops.
Hogback Bock
Our bock is a strong (double) bock that is brewed with all German malt and hops. It is smooth and has a sweet finish that allows it to be paired with anything from appetizers to dessert.
Cat Paw Kölsch
Our Cat Paw Kölsch style beer is golden yellow with a soft white head leaving a nice lace long after it's gone...its flavor is slightly sweet and fruity with a detectable hop aroma and flavor. It is brewed with a base of German Pilsner malt with some Vienna malt thrown in for flavor and color. Because a true Kölsch beer can only be brewed within the area of Cologne, Germany we've taken some liberties with the style...and made ours an easy drinking summer ale.
Summer Farmhouse Ale
The Farmhouse Ale is brewed in the style of a Belgian Saison. It is a lighter-bodied, golden-orange ale with a big creamy head. The aroma is spicy, yeasty and fruity making you wonder what it's going to taste like. The flavor is all of the aroma and more…spices, yeast, fruit and finishing with a slight hop bite from the late hopping with Saaz.
Seasons change and so do our beers, so be sure to ask your server for our current selection…we offer 3oz draft samples for 75 cents.
All Bobcat house-brewed beers are brewed with the finest ingredients available. They are brewed with malted barley, hops, yeast and pure Vermont water…nothing else…well, maybe a little Vermont coffee, Vermont chocolate, Vermont maple syrup or locally grown hops here and there…but that's it!
